Louisiana Lawsuit Over In-Home Care Limits Settled

The state of Louisiana found itself at the wrong end of a lawsuit when the state’s Medicaid program rolled out an initiative that would slash the number of hours approved for recipients to 32 hours per week. Many recipients already received over 32 hours per week of in-home care prior to the initiative in September 2011.
