I would not suggest this hospice company to anyone who cares about the terminally ill patient. Our nurse hasn't answered our phone calls on the first call yet. Thankfully my father was only on hospice 5 days before passing on. The morning he passed, we couldn't even get someone to answer the "emergency" number. I got in touch with an operator and she transferred me to another extension, who didn't answer either. My father passed at 9:30am on a Thursday, so anyone who has a loved one pass at an odd time of day my heart breaks for you because you will be looking at your deceased loved one for an extended amount of time. Once my father passed (at a rather young age) naturally my mom wanted the hospice bed out of her living room. On day two after his passing, we called frequently throughout the day about the equipment being picked up, after being assured it would be. At 6:30pm on day two, my husband called again to ask when the equipment would be gone and the lady said not today and hung up on my husband after he explained to her the equipment would now be outside for them. This is not the kind of experience you want when losing your father.

I wouldn't suggest using this company. My father was on hospice for only 5 days before he went to heaven Dec 7, 2019. While he was alive, we requested a bath and a lady showed up and asked the family for a bucket for water, wash cloth and towels to dry him. We couldn't done everything if we would've known all she was going to do was literally run a wash cloth over him. When we would call the nurse during normal business hours, we never got an answer. We called the emergency number that they say is "available 24/7" and was transferred from the operator to St. Vincent's hospital. Stupid. When my father passed, we called the emergency number, bc our nurse was off work, and it took hours until someone showed up. He passed at 9:30 AM and they didn't show up until around noon. We also requested the oxygen tank and bed to be removed from my mothers living room that day, who had just lost her best friend, and we were told it would be taken care of. 48 hours later, the equipment was still there. Multiple family members called the "emergency number" to get them to let the medical equipment know to be picked up and they assured us multiple times it would happen today. And nothing. My brother in law called and finally said we were taking the quipment outside to get it out of the house so we didn't have to stare at it and the lady said "do what ya gotta do" and hung up on him. Would not recommend this company to anybody.

I can't say enough wonderful things about these clinicians. They are wonderful with my Mom who has dementia. They have really taken some stress off of me and that is amazing.

St.Vincent's Home Health and Hospice is a home health agency they do not have medical equip. Nor do the sell medical equip. They do have some pretty amazing clinicians that love serving people.

Terrible experience with this company today. Before today I bought all of my equipment to treat my sleep apnea condition from this company. I also rented an oxygen concentrator and eventually bought one from this company. Now they do not service the equipment they sell. Worse is the horrible customer service my wife and I received today. I strongly recommend NEVER using this company for anything. All of the people my wife and I talked to were completely uncaring or had no basic civility toward a long standing customer looking for assistance. Donna was the only bright spot, but she left me on hold and someone named Kim came on and was as bad as the woman my wife talked to. I have never rated a company before, but I was so blown away by the how this company could have St.Vincent in their name and the hospital not know how terrible they are being represented.
