If you need to handle any business by phone, do not even waste your time. Monday, I was on hold for TWO HOURS and no one answered the phone. Tuesday, I was on hold for FORTY FIVE MINUTES, still no one answered the phone. Today, I waste another FORTY FIVE MINUTES waiting on hold, was hung up on twice(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and when someone finally answered, they inform me that they will not be able to even attempt to help me until 2 o'clock. I ask to speak to a supervisor and she could not even answer her phone! Do their phones even work?! Seriously at the end of my rope with these people. My experience has been completely disrespectful and unprofessional. At this point, I am not even sure if it is worth it anymore. Please just don't even bother wasting your time. GO UP THERE IF YOU NEED ANYTHING. DO NOT CALL THEM.

Never in my life had I ever had to deal with such rudeness and an unprofessional staff at this facility. My experience with the staff I had to deal with yesterday treated me so poorly, I even had a staff act like she was transferring me to my case worker when I can clearly hear her in the background counting to 2 and then she gets back on the phone saying she tried to transfer me but it didn't go through(I wasn't born yesterday)....I have never heard that case workers only except calls on certain days(if your open mon-fri. Someone(supervisor or someone higher up) should b there to handle a case). The last time i tried to contact a supervisor about my case the lady who answered the phone told me she wasn't allowed to transfer my call because she wasn't sure if the supervisor was even at her office... like I told the lady who answered the phone, not only did I recieved a miss call from that supervisor telling me to give her a call back but I have been transferred to her office countless of times that day and I left many messages on her voicemail, so I know u can transfer me I'll just have to leave another voice mail. So to me it seems like they make up rules as they go because I had to end up contacting another caseworker in a different county to kindly help me understand what was going on with my case who seemed very surprised when I told her that the staff at this facility informed me that the case workers in Lee county only took calls on certain days, even she said that didn t sound right. Clearly these staffs who are employed there thinks that my situation was hilarious. They are very poorly trained highly rude and very highly unprofessional and something clearly needs to be done..... Opelika dhr isn't even worth the stars for this review.

Impossible to get anyone on the phone. They never mail you anything they promise to mail you. They never return phone calls. Very unprofessional and just a JOKE altogether.
