I would not suggest this hospice company to anyone who cares about the terminally ill patient. Our nurse hasn't answered our phone calls on the first call yet. Thankfully my father was only on hospice 5 days before passing on. The morning he passed, we couldn't even get someone to answer the "emergency" number. I got in touch with an operator and she transferred me to another extension, who didn't answer either. My father passed at 9:30am on a Thursday, so anyone who has a loved one pass at an odd time of day my heart breaks for you because you will be looking at your deceased loved one for an extended amount of time. Once my father passed (at a rather young age) naturally my mom wanted the hospice bed out of her living room. On day two after his passing, we called frequently throughout the day about the equipment being picked up, after being assured it would be. At 6:30pm on day two, my husband called again to ask when the equipment would be gone and the lady said not today and hung up on my husband after he explained to her the equipment would now be outside for them. This is not the kind of experience you want when losing your father. In addition, we did not receive the proper oxygen supplies for my father to perform breathing treatments while having stage 4 lung cancer. Our nurse was going to correct the issue and when called to ask when we could expect the products her response was "I forgot to order it". Meanwhile my father can't breathe. The first nurse didn't set up his care system correctly, as the other staff members frequently told us who messed up there, super professional. The bath lady came and wanted us to provide her with a pot, wash rag, and towel (what is the point of the bath system). Lastly it was very ironic to us that our nurse couldn't answer our phone calls but took a minimum of 5 personal calls during our first visit.

The communication between the company that set up the service was not complete. My service was time sensitive and needed to occur at a specific time in the afternoon. The nurse called to set up the service for the morning. We completed the intake and I had to disconnect the pump from my port myself because she could not come back to the house. The 2nd nurse tried to schedule the disconnection in the morning as well. I never had a nurse from this company disconnect me from my pump because they could not get the time scheduled correctly.
