About Alabama Homecare
Alabama HomeCare is a home health agency that offers skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, home health aide & social work. We do not have any contracted clinicians, all are actual employees.
All patients with a landline are offered Phillips Lifeline service (emergency pendant which also serves as a speaker for phone) at no cost while on our services. They may choose to keep the service at a discounted rate upon discharge.
Weekend admission done on a regular basis. Community-oriented agency with a medical director who is very involved in overseeing patient care and continuously educating clinicians on home care. Our medical director is Dr. Andrew S. Duxbury of UAB Geriatrics. He has over 25 years of home care experience.
We are connected to over 30 home health agencies in the state so we can place patients for home health in all counties in AL with the exception of Chilton & Perry counties.
