I removed my loved one from a very scary rehab facility to Advanced. It was a night & day difference. This is a small facility with spacious private rooms 24/7 staffing, great meals. You get to know everyone instead of having many different caregivers. You don't get 'lost' as you may in a larger place. The physical therapists were great, nurses & other staff were awesome. I thank them for the care they gave as it got him to the point of independence. I highly recommend them!

My grandmother was transferred here from another facility after her hip surgery, and she and our family were extremely happy with this facility. The other facility was absolutely horrible and Advanced Health Care of Mesa put her at ease. The facility is elegant and beautifully decorated. My grandmother felt taken care of and loved the amenities that were provided to her.

My mom was in rehab after a back surgery at Advanced Healthcare. It was a horrible experience. The only reason I am giving it a 2 star is because there where a few good staff members that did a great job. My mom fell when she was there and was calling for help while she laid on her room floor for 10 minutes before anyone came to help. When she fell she got a really bad laceration on the back of her hand in which tendons were exposed. The P.A/N.P.(his name was Larry) on site that day told the nurse to wrap it up rather than sending my mom to the emergency room. The next day when I got to the rehab and had the nurse unwrap it and show me the wound....I immediately demanded that she be taken to the hospital emergency room. The doctor at emergency said that my mom should have been brought in to the hospital that very day she fell. The doctor could not believe what poor judgment Larry made by not sending her to the hospital. Her tendons could have dried out and she would have lost use of her hand...not to mention the high risk of infection. The ER doctor stitched the huge skin flap on to cover the wound that was bunched up and covered by the nurse at Advanced Hlthcare.. The next day when I went back to see my mom at Advanced Healthcare we meet with Larry and told him what the ER said and did for my mom. Larry was very rude and told us if we did not like his care plan for my mom then we could just discharge my mom. And that is exactly what I did!! In addition....I requested the medical records from my moms visit there and Larry made false statements to cover his butt! He also couldn't even document medical records correctly...he said that my moms injury was on her right hand....well guess what LARRY, it was her LEFT hand. So you be quiet and listen to me!! (that's what Larry said to me and my mom..."to be quiet and listen to him"

Our family member was a patient here and received good care initially. On Saturday she was rushed to the hospital and the staff at Advance never notified us. Once she was at the hospital, Advance discharged her from their care. When the hospital was releasing her to go back to Advance they were told she was no longer a patient there. No communication to family and care takers again! This type of service is extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate.

My wife is a patient there now...the staff and care are outstanding. Food is very good, rooms and facility are very nice.
