After my father passes, the two worst moments of being a 24/7 caretaker for him will be the rude, insensitive conduct by their employees who come into your home and believe they can say anything they want to including insulting you by saying things like "you don't do anything." Don't be fooled. This company, and others I understand, are not about caring about the patient or you. They are there to do the least amount of work so they can so they can get you to sign for the billing and move on to the next. They come to your home to make a profit. If you can avoid in-home hospice I would. Unfortunately, my sister who lives thousands of miles away and doesn't have to deal with them or being a 24/7 caregiver won't let me fire them or they would have been gone long ago. Really, how does a company stay in business by hiring employees who insult you after you've been the only one holding up the fort for years now?
