    We have been with Coram since the beginning of this year after being with Preferred for many years. My son has CP, epilepsy, and autism and gets medications through G-tube. Supplies are always late, and I don't get them at all unless I call. Things came to a head this week. I called last week to schedule a delivery. I specified that I needed a new button as well since we are supposed to get one every 90 days (haven't got one since May). I called a second time on Monday this week when nothing had come. Apparently, the delivery was never even entered into the computer. The service representative put in my order, and my delivery came the next day (Tuesday), but they had forgotten the button (I specified at least twice that I needed it). I called a third time yesterday and was told that my button was out for delivery and would arrive later that day. It still didn't come. I called a fourth time today and was told that the button was never entered into the system. She put an order for it and put it on recurring (why wasn't it already?). She told me that I still won't get the button until next Monday at the earliest. In the meantime, I may need to take my son to the ER to get s new button inserted because it's been so long since we got a new one, and we've already used the back-up.

    Customer service was a nightmare. Scheduling a nurse every week for dressing change for my son took calling them a few times, then the day of had to call to verify time because nobody ever called back to give us a time. Once, the nurse forgot she was coming and was grocery shopping, another time it was deemed CRITICAL to draw blood unscheduled because of potassium results. We were told he needed it done ASAP 4 hours later and an half dozen phone calls a nurse called us to say she was getting an ultrasound and would come afterwards. A different nurse each time and never the same time. We did have 3 amazing nurses. Shelby, Heather, and Pamela. It was Pamela who thought all the run around were unnecessary and put herself as his caseworker and would come the same time each week. FINALLY.. after 10 weeks of nightmares we got an amazing nurse and better yet could count on her being there on time on the set day. After her 2nd visit, the Dr ordered the pick line to be removed, my son was done with his treatment. IT FIGURES-we finally get a nurse assigned and it's over. Pamela came to remove the line and we expressed how much we appreciated her and how it figures it was at the end of the nightmare with scheduling. But Thank you to Heather and Shelby as well for being amazing nurses and breaking up the nightmare for us with great service and great bedside manners we did appreciate all 3 of you. Now for supplies... we had to call to order supplies a few times and once the meds changed and required twice a day drip of antibiotics they sent the bags but not the lines.. what's up with that? We then had to order lines stat so he wouldn't be too late with his dose. Other things went wrong but not as bad as trying to get a home nurse visit. My son's notes are probably a mile long with all my phone calls trying to get a nurse, a time and confirmation on the day of because he was forgotten more than once. Once they sent a nurse 2 days after he had a home visit. Come on Coram, I know you can be better organized. I sincerely had high stress levels every time I knew I had to call. It should have been your company calling us to set the day and time. Glad its over.

    Like mentioned in another review I too would give a no star. Please stay away from this company!! ITS YOUR HEALTH! Terrible company, no shows often, late when they did show, and had excuse after excuse! I spoke with the directer and she said that my expectations of having people show up on time or at all were not going to be met. Im not a difficult person but my health is important and when I hired this company I expected them to show up. STAY AWAY FROM CORAM HEALTH!! I did however get my insurance to use a different company called Soleo Health and they were amazing.

    If I could give a no star I would. Sent the paperwork to them this morning so my husband could leave the hospital after 2 weeks. They said someone was on their way and they never showed. When the nurse called to find out what was going on they told her they never received anything. They also told her they won't be able to show him until after Christmas. When I called them they couldn't give me answers. Because they screwed up my husband may not be able to spend Christmas with his kids that he hasn't been able to see for 2 weeks.

    No stars should be an option. Coram, get your stuff together. I am receiving bills over a YEAR after service, and the service was BAD. This company is so poorly managed you cant reach anyone and nobody seems to know whats going on when you do.
