Victor Valley Hospice is horrible! Supposedly they are a branch of VNA (visiting nurses) but they are the worst kind! My mother went through VNA and they were more compassionate and helpful. Victor Valley Hospice for my father was the worst I've ever seen or experienced in my medical career! On day one, first visit from an aide, she called me late afternoon when she was supposed to begin in morning and asked "do you still need me?" The majority of the aides lack compassion and heart. They are very lazy and do not take off the stress of the family but add more as some nurses think they are above washing the patient (was told "it's not my job; I take vitals.") Also, when patient passes on, the durable equipment team should be there immediately to take back the equipment as to not add emotional stress to the family by seeing the daily reminder that he is not there. It's 3 days now and I've had to call them asking over and over when will they send durable equipment to pick up hospital bed, etc. One night shift nurse said "she's not on duty" and passed the buck to another nurse. No one came for hours when my father had passed until I had to call the office and report both nurses refusing to come out, wash my father and report death and call mortuary. I had to do most of their work. I will never ever let friends or family use Victor Valley Hospice.

first of all my mother is on her deathbed. second of all I am trying to get my mother revoked off of hospice with this company this company does not appreciate anything when it comes to their patients or their patients family they sent me through the run-around they're acting like I owe them something. and the supervising Head Nurse hung up the phone in my face. My review for this company is a 0-0 0-0 0 I would not recommend this company to no one that is going through the situation of somebody transitioning in their family to heaven. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy and I don't have any enemies! how about that! Nobody at this company has compassion they don't have respect or care for their patients last days here on Earth. The way they treat the patients families is unethical it's wrong it's rude it's very unprofessional they do not care about their patients or their patients families. If you're in the business of a hospice Mortuary or anything of that nature, when it comes to someone's dying days. You should have more compassion more respect and more understanding of what that family is going through. If this was the last hospice on Earth I would never go to desert community hospice for any type of services. I don't care if they the last company I will not ever Dart their phone or door!!!!!!!! God forbid anybody has to go through what I had to go through dealing with my mother's last days here on Earth because desert community hospice did not give a damn about my mother or me!
