I had to come here while staying on the Oceano Dunes for Kidney Stones pain. They were absolutely amazing! I was in and out of there in 2 hours at the most. They finally figured out what had been going on with me for the last month and I am finally feeling better. I live in Clovis, CA and the hospital did nothing for me about a month ago when I had to go there at 2 am with the same Kidney pain. I waited about 10 hours at Clovis Community for them to tell me I probably passed the stone while I was waiting. So thank you so much Arroyo Grande for finally figuring out the source of my pain and fixing it! I have been telling everyone about my good experience :)

Had to visit the ER during our family vacation. All of the staff, from check-in to attending physician, were great. So nice to have an ER experience with a welcoming environment and quality people. Wish I had this in my hometown; thanks again.

Great small town hospital. Friendly, helpful and caring staff. Is enlarging and does have access to other resources in the Dignity Healthcare system.

Rude, lazy, condescending nurses. Openly violate confidentiality in front of other patients. Right in the hallways. And then harass us after we left the e.r. The nurses didnt even give me daughter the medicine the doctor ordered. Some little filipino registration chick harassed us also. After our daughters emergency. And the had to hear the nurses talk badly about patients, and who was going have sex after work. Disgusting place. I would rather die then go to this place ever again. Avoid and let the state know about these lops.

Staff refused to treat my 95 year-old father, falsely attributing his weakness to 'old age.' Emergency room released my father wirh severe urinary tract infection. When I contested the release, refusal to treat, my father was left in lobby of Arroyo Grande hospital at near 12 midnight !!!! They REFUSED TO ADMIT HIM IN FUTURE. DUE TO MY HAVING CONTESTED EMERGENCY ROOM AMBIVALENCE, INCOMPETENT TREATMENT. Shocking, but, true.
