Worst company I have ever dealt with. The wheel chair was so heavy I was unable to use it. The hospital bed was hard, too short, and the mattress was completely encased in thick plastic. I stopped using it on third day as you end up lying in your own sweat and getting bed sores. I would recommend that everyone avoid doing any business with this company. I was going to give Apria no stars but could not post review unless I gave it one undeserved star.

These people are the worst. We had a scheduled delivery on Wednesday. Everyday they call pushing it back. Four days later our daughter is still in the nicu and we can't take her home without the monitor they are supposed to deliver. Thanks worthless ass p.o.s. company. I plan on taking them to court over the tens of thousands of dollars we have been charged for having her in the nicu on the additional days. F. U. Apria

Were I able to give them negative stars I would. The tech I just worked with was a fine man, efficient and helpful. He is unique in the company. I believe their billing practices are murky and quite possibly illegal. I have been working with them for about ten years and I hope to get my insurance company to dump them. If you have another choice take it.

My experience with Apria is that they are ridiculously difficult to contact by phone. I once was on hold for over 45 minutes before giving up and disconnecting. A more recent attempt was 24 minutes on hold only to have the customer service rep answer and immediately state she would be unable to assist with any request since their system was down, and I would have to call back. Given how notoriously hard Apria is to reach, I asked that Apria instead call me back the next day. The rep said she would, but, of course, never did. Even as I write this, I have now been on hold for over 1 hour and 6 minutes... These long waits don't seem to be anomalies... rather they appear simply to be the way Apria choses to run their operations.

I have been a unwilling customer for 25 years. Doing anything with national call center and the local Oxnard service office is like pulling teeth. No matter what you are calling about, you will get transferred four times and spend a lot of time on hold. When you arrive for your Appointment time you will wait at least an hour. The techs don't listen to you. They decide what is easiest for themselves and that's what you get. Shame that I don't have a choice as my insurance will only authorize them. I'm being held hostage.
