Unbelievably caring and welcoming staff. They do exactly what you would want for your loved one and much more. They are amazing caring people here. I recommend them to any family in need of great care in their final days.

Initially I rated this place as a 4 out of 5, but that was when things were a bit emotional. I dropped one star in retrospect because of what transpired. This is not their fault. It is after all how life comes to its conclusion. Coming back again for another family member 5 years later, it was well staffed. They care. They ultimately made the process, well not enjoyable (that is never the case,) but they really did try to make it easier. I only hope that I can have a place like this many years from now.

What a beautiful hospice facility! I was so impressed from the moment I walked in with how clean and beautiful the rooms are. I believe it's a 10 bed facility but the rooms are very spacious and spread out. There is a big common area to hang out in and a kitchen area with tables, etc. The staff was very professional and sweet. There is definitely a special feeling there as this is a place for people who will not be here long. I was amazed and would recommend this facility to anyone who is looking for hospice.

I actually worked for Citrus Valley Hospice back in 2001-03 as a medical records clerk. While I wasn't involved in patient care I did come to know the nurses, doctors, home health providers, and the support staff very well. Each and every person I worked with did their utmost to make sure that patients and their families were the #1 priority, even when the co. went through some difficult times and we were afraid of losing the facility. Their were days that were difficult when families had just lost a loved one, but the emotional support they received from the nurses and staff that were specifically involved with their family member was what anyone would hope for. Its been several years since I was there, but I still have fond memories of a lot of the folks I worked with.

On October 1st, our mom had a heart attack. This was just days before her birthday. Mom (99 years old) pulled through this. Shorty thereafter we had Citrus Valley Hospice assist us. We had the greatest most professional services in caring for our mom at home. Since January 2009 my brother and I have been caring for mom. Only until mom's heart attack did we require outside assistance. So many thanks to those professionals that were there for mom at our home... Danai who always checked mom's vitals and ordered medication. Thanks to Royanne and Rosa Gomez for looking after mom and cleaning her and always talking with mom assuring her that she was ok. Thank you Lee for always making sure that the family was ok and for sharing with us avenues to go down for the betterment of mom's health. Thank you Grace La Fargo for visiting mom and your informative ideas in helping us. Dr. Leung we sincerely thank you for your visits in helping our mother. Lydia at the Hospice desk you are such a special kind person in assisting me and thank you for your kind words. Donna who came out to assist our family when mom died on August 2nd., 2016. Thank you Donna. I know that I may have missed some of you who have helped our mother and our sincere thanks goes out to you. We know that our mom is in Heaven, since on Easter, 2016...mom accepted Jesus as her personal Savior. Remember that you too...can have Jesus as your Personal Savior.
