    When to choose Accent Care for your loved one: Do you not care about your time? Do you like getting calls from people who tell you "they have an appointment with you" as your morning call without ever having made an appointment? (an appointment to them is something they and their company decide is an appointment.They pick day and time. They let you know what it is the day of. Really, is that something you need to get your pretty head involved in?) Do you want a company who believes that waiting till the last minute to try to "swing by" and see your loved one is a best practice? If you are headed to the doctor and they call you, they will push to see you in the few minutes that are available because that is "all they have." Do you want a company that tries to push services on you even when told no by using a sales tactic of "Well your doctor ordered it?" My doctor ordered it in case we needed it. We don't need it. We don't need the scare tactic that we are refusing doctors "orders". I am glad my doctor made it very clear to me why it was ordered and easily could be refused. Would you like a company that can't be bothered when you mess up their average by your loved one being hospitalized "too much". You can't slow down their flow by getting "sick". They are trying to run a health care skilled home nursing business here and they ain't got time for that! Do you like errant therapist knocking on your door because their company hasn't communicated to them that your loved one is in the hospital and has been for a week? Why they would not let their therapists know and not have them roaming around needlessly? Do you like give concise two sentence instructions that are ignored by 90% of the staff? Stuff like "Please call the day before you want to come out. You can best reach me at this number." Sentences like these are feckless wishes of fools. If you love the above things, then AccentCare is a company you want! They give you all this in spades. Who needs communication and professionalism when you can have AccentCare? We did appreciate a couple of the employees. They were good at their jobs and we are thankful for their services. However, you can tell from the top down this company is as poorly run as it gets. Poor time management and poor communication...but mostly, poor core values.

    Not a fan. Giving them two stars because the staff that they did send were pretty good, but we made multiple requests for additional services for behavioral health and social work as we are living with a patient with both psychiatric issues and dementia. Our requests were ignored until the 4th time we asked, when someone finally called us back to say "Not covered by insurance." We know that's not true because similar services were covered for the other spouse by the same insurance less than a year ago. I get the feeling that they are hiring good people and treating them poorly when they ask their supervisor 4 TIMES to respond to us and they just ignore both the worker and the caregiver. There are many good home health services in the Denver area, these guys just are not one of them. EDIT: At 7 weeks, the referral has expired, and they still have yet to show up to provide the cognitive services she should have had almost 2 months ago. Would knock them down to only 1 star but Google won't let me change the rating.

    Had a "worker" that kept canceling, rescheduling, not showing up for 6 weeks. Then I complained. So, she tells her boss I was spreading rumors about her, which I hadn't. Her boss was ready to file a "Violation of HIPAA" against me. I spoke to the boss and told her I would file a violation of her if she did. I told her what else the work had/hadn't done. The worker hadn't shown up for 6 weeks yet her boss paid her for that time. I told her she was fired. Was she forging my signature on the timesheet? She had to have been since she was getting paid for those 6 weeks. I still kept seeing the worker in the building after I fired her.

    My bandages for the wound were ordered on Saturday the 26th of October. They were promised on Tuesday. No show. Then promised by 4:00 PM on Wednesday the 30th-NO SHOW. Absolute incompetence.

    A joke! Never kept appointments. Were late. One showed up without an appointment. Talked alot. Did nothing except take blood pressure. Update: took awhile to get things going. Physical and occupatioal therapists have been great - James and Angela. But communication difficulties persist with rest of company. Upped rating from 1 to 3 stars
