I worked for PASCO for two years. The clients you work with are amazing individuals, it was a blessing to work with them and their families, you become part of their family, and create special bonds with these people, that is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. When I first started for this company back in 2015 everyone in the office was very friendly and nice to help me out. This past year when I emailed my supervisor Hope asking for help changing my schedule because I could no longer work for PASCO comfortably due to my schooling and milage (I was driving more than profitable) she ignored my requests and emails avoiding the situation entirely. When new clients would join the company near my home, I would ask to be assigned those morning visits but instead PASCO would have me train brand new CNA's for those spots. When I had started with the company they would have me drive 40+ miles in the early morning to clients in south Denver, until closer clients became available to me but I was never given closer clients. Other aids, however, earned their seniority and I didn't understand why I hadn't earned anything in my two years over brand new aids. Joining the company I was also under the impression that 'snow pay' was a written policy, however, it is up to the schedulers to determine if the snow was an inconvenience to CNA's, even though they are not the ones on the road in the early mornings or late evenings experiencing the snow fall. One incident happened to be I was driving from Thornton to Longmont in two inches of snow on the highway at 5 a.m. in dark, driving under 15 miles under the speed limit due to icy conditions, and this did not qualify as snow pay - whether it is two inches or two feet driving in the snow it is still unsafe for CNA's who risk their lives and vehicles to serve those in need and not be given some compensation for this. My weekend clients were also taken off my schedule without the company asking me or notifying me beforehand of any policy changes. When I had started with the company my supervisor and I agreed that working every other weekend was acceptable, however, when PASCO no longer found this to be suitable and changed the policy to CNA's having to work every weekend, they neglected to notify me of the change and gave my shifts away that upcoming weekend. After exhausting myself waking up at 5 a.m. and going to bed past 11 p.m. for two year along with going to college, I gave my two weeks notice to my HR department, schedulers, supervisor, and the CEO Ryan, they all ignored my notice, did not give me an exit interview or a single response, this was very uncourteous and by no means professional as a company to ignore me, and I felt very neglected. The office environment became two sided and hostile as well. It is typical for a home health company to do these things though so, when you decide to work for this company please consider that if you do not kiss rear they will start to treat you poorly. All my clients loved working with me, and still hire me to do non related CNA work. I never neglected to do my job to the fullest, my clients adored my services, and that was the thanks I was given.
