Worst hospital experience. Condescending doctor's and nurses (not all but most). E.R. almost killed my mom by putting her on an IV antibiotic in a family of medicine she told them she was allergic. Do not go here if you are having psychiatric problems. They do not take you seriously. BCH is a much option with respectful staff and a therapist on staff at all times. We'll see if UC Health can do any better. I hope so because I absolutely warn anyone in an emergency situation. Trust the medics to get you to another place close by. Do not use this hospital.

????? Brought my son in for strep throat... The nurse was exceptional??, however, the ER doc was very serious ? and seemed like he hasn't laughed in years?... Great doctor, just too serious. Strep throat isn't that serious. The rest of the staff, from the point of walking in the doors of the ER, to the woman who registered him, and most of all.... his nurse (?absolutely love her?), more than made up for the doc. I would encourage anyone who is in need of ER attention to go to Longmont United Hospital,? the staff alone will make you feel better!?? ?????

From the emergency room doctors and staff to the floor for stroke patients I was absolutely cared for by hard working and knowledgeable staff. The discharge planner even applied for a successful grant for my hardships. I am SO very grateful for their professionalism, hard work, consistency, and friendly staff! I highly recommend LUH!

Very unsanitary, an unmarked vial of blood was lying on the counter, when the nurse was questioned about this and as to why it wasn't put in a bio hazard container she just shrugged it off and said "oh it should be, it must be an extra one. I'll do it now. " (several nurse's walked in at least 5 times and never disposed of it). Dr Kirchar had a very horrible bedside manner, he seemed very cold, uncaring, unprepared and uniformed. He made us feel that we were wasting his time and that our loved one's sickness was a burden to him. If possible go to another hospital.

The medical staff were very kind when I went in for a bone density scan. I was seen promptly, didn't have to wait long, and the staff were great. However, it's been over a month and they have not released the results to my doctor, despite having been requested to do so twice (by my doctor). They were very quick to bill me, though. Called medical records, was sent to voicemail, and haven't heard back. I won't go back here if I can help it.
