I hope you're 13 or up if you go, else you'll be with the youth group. This means you can kiss recovery goodbye. You'll never make it through a minute of group. This hospital doesn't feel like it's for the depressed. It's for those with behavioral issues. If you cut, you'll want to cut more. If you have an ED, it won't leave you. If you go in suicidal, you're going to come out that way. At least you will here. Food is great, but the staff are horrible. I hate this place. It was only good because of my roommate, the food, and the fact that I wasn't home.

Whatever you do, do not check yourself into this place and avoid going here at all costs. Protocol is completely inappropriate. Mary G a social worker here is completely irresponsible and was not reachable my entire stay. As well as during my stay I asked for a note for school and told I would have a copy provided. That was not the case. Now I'm trying to call to get a school note and they can't reach anyone capable of providing me with one because they said a social worker is not answering a page. For at least 7 plus hours a day your put in a room with 35 women or more to do nothing but watch tv and color. Whatever you do avoid this facility at all costs no matter what your reasoning is. Get help somewhere else.

This place is terrible! My wife has been there more than once and I am never letting her go back! There are better places I'm sure and in the future we will research and find a place where they actually give a damn about the patient!!! I don't expect the red carpet or fancy things, it's a hospital and treatment center and I can imagine dealing with all the different people is difficult but most of the staff needs to be FIRED! If they don't want to deal with people who have issues then they should work elsewhere!! I trust my wife. I believe what she tells me. I have heard the story for a long long time and it's always the same. And the personal interaction I have had with them even on a limited level shows clearly they have serious issues! If I hated dogs I would not apply to be a veteran, if I hated children I would not apply to work in a day why on earth did these sorry, petty, miserable creatures walk in there.... Apply to work with troubled, sick people if they are so full of self hate and resentment!? They are sad and I think they get a sick thrill out of provoking and over exerting there authority over helpless people! My advice.... Find somewhere eles! And Peachford, if you read this, fire the ones who don't love there work!

This is the absolute worst place in the state of Georgia. Nurses and doctors are worthless pieces of trash, and don't care at all. Give you wrong information when you call, and don't help with anything. I highly recommend avoiding this place as best as you can please.

I called the main line to ask to give a message for my husband who was recently admitted, and the only answer I could get was "Sorry, I could not find his name", which she did not even care to ask for a name. This went on for awhile. It seemed like I was interrupting her. So, I am revising my review from a 1 to a 3 because my husband said the food was good and that people inside are nice. I did notice that after I made a phone call to the main office that the receptionists were far more helpful and personable.
