My mother was at Metropolitan Hospice back in late November and was there for five days. The night staff was excellent and gave great care. The facility looked cleaned and seemed to be a friendly place. "Margie" the social worker was great and showed her true love for helping people. I would highly recommend Metropolitan Hospice to anyone looking for hospice services. JOB WELL DONE.........

My father-in-law spent two days at this hospice, and his care was exceptional. If we thought he needed pain management, the nurse was in his room within 30 seconds giving him the proper medication. When I asked our day nurse Gigi questions about pain management, she looked me in the face and said, "he will not be in pain, I can control that." That was very reassuring. One of our attendants "Ramon" could not have been better at his job. Even though my father in law was unconscious most of the time, Ramon would always talk to him and let him know what he was doing. Ramon made sure my father in law was treated with diginity, especially after he passed.

My experence at Metropolitan Hospice in Marietta was horrible. The only good things I can say is it appeared clean, late the evening of my sons admission, the adminstrator came in to help get things right. Nobody greeted us or gave us a tour or a care plan. The treatment my son, myself and daughters was given was really not much. When my son passed away, it was just a matter of fact. The nurse who listened to my son's chest, just turned around and kept on going. I stopped her and asked if my son was gone. She said yes and kept on going. I was left there in hysterics holding my son. I called my daughter and our friend who lives very close by got to me before anybody in that place did. The staff there is very FEW, have an attitude problem and simply are just putting in their time. This place needs some inservice training and some looking into as far as living up to what they are promoting themselves to be. They certainly also lack compassion. This is unfortunate. I have had experiences with Hospice. This was not satisfactory at all. Thank you, Joe's mother
