My sister in law was giving birth, so we came to visit. Now, I understand rules are set for the courtesy of patients, but the front desk receptionist, Irma, lacked professionalism. She did explain to us that only 2 people were allowed to go to the delivery room. However, one of the nurse disclosed To my mother in law that her children were only to stay in the waiting room upstairs not in the actual delivery room because why Would they stay in a waiting room by themselves? My mother in law was okay with that. Upon going back upstairs, my mother in law explained to Irma that the nurse said it was okay to bring her kids back up. Irma went on explaining how NO children under 17 are allowed upstairs in a very loud tone for everyone in the waiting room to hear. My mother in law was nothing but calm while speaking, but Irma insisted on her voice being heard and began to point at my husband and I as if we were breaking rules. It was embarrassing because everyone looked at us as if we stole from her.. Can someone please retrain her and teach her not to speak down to others. Thank you!

The worst place I've ever been to in my entire life. The worst staff, zero compassion. We came in for a serious issue and they treated us as if we were criminals. I am still in shock everything that happened. They lie to you, won't give you any information when you ask and will slam the window in your face. I watched an actual altercation between a male nurse a patient who clearly had either a mental issue or a drug issue. It looked like I was about to watch a street fight. If we weren't visiting Chicago with zero idea on where to go, we wouldn't have come here. I don't know how this place is still operating

Worst hospital ever they tell you they will bill your insurance out for the service you got done but they be lying ! Months later they want to send you a bill !!and tell you to pay it or it's going to collection! Before they see anybody it's their job to inform the ppl if they insurance is active or not and if it's going to be cover by ins before we agree on been seeing by the dr so we can decide if we can pay for it or not !
