Wow.. what more could I say about heart land.... I've been a nurse for 20 years and always worked long term care.... I highly recommend anyone to heart land... I've never met such loving and caring nurses and cnas... they have always returned calls promptly... knowledgeable.. and treated families with respect. . This is by far the best hospice around...

I have had such great professional experiences with Heartland. As a director of nursing, I have to help residents and families during one of the most difficult times they experience. Heartland nurse Crystal in the Godfrey area has been the best hospice nurse I have evrr worked with! Anytime a resident needs something, she ensure they get it quickly! Great nurses and aides, always a pleasure to work with.

Heartland hospice allowed me to keep my mother at home with end stage Alzheimer's and multiple other diagnoses. Without their nurses, assistants and spiritual guidance this would not have been possible. Everything was done to make mom's, my, and my family's experience the best it could be under the circumstances. Our needs were anticipated and everything was in place before it was actually needed. Every aspect of the care we were given went above and beyond what I expected. Should the need arise again, I will definitely use Heartland again.

Amazing services and truly caring staff. Heartland helped my family and I during my dad's cancer diagnosis and death. They were always just a phone call away and always ready to help.

The RN who took over our grandmother was not helpful, she stated in her notes we were noncompliant in her care, when her instructions were lacking with medication changes We had to call after hour call service several times..once for excessive rectal bleeding, once for the need of oxygen,. The last house visit ( 2 wks ago) stated oxygen would be delivered, which never came. finally, she was in need of the oxygen so we called the service for delivery and was told it would be here in 2 hrs.we called at 7 pm still by 3 am no delivery . 9 am next day it finally was delivered. The service stated they don't take care of impactions either. Hum,seriously. On oxy every 2 hrs and morphine and ativan.your going to have constipation issues. This is unacceptable. Randy, the HHA was the only person consistent in helping us with her care.other than delivery of medications and the supply company.which I am assuming was on Auto ship.. When you are caring for a loved one at the end of life situation., it is stressful and humbling you need lots of help.Dependable help.consistent. No Drama . no letures and attitudes.
