I've been there many times and every time was perfect. Great Dr's and Nurses.

My mom went in last night. She was in terrible pain. Her throat swelled up. Couldn't swallow or talk. It came on very suddenly. The doctor quickly looked in her throat. Didn't feel her neck and throat which was visibly swollen. Did a strep culture incorrectly. Gave her a huge motrin, in pill which she could not swallow! She said something and they ignored it. She said she had a virus and that was it. She ended up leaving without being discharged. She was there from 10pm-4am. Just disappointing. FHN needs to work on their care for patients. This isn't the first issue we have ran into

The cafeteria has great food - and it's exactly the same food the patients get upstairs. Nice touch.

Went in to the ER for chest pains and high blood pressure. Was checked in and sat in a room for almost two hours before anybody came to check on me or hook me up to a EKG. No call light to get ahold of anyone or anything for two hours. Personally wouldn't trust this place taking care of my dogs. The best part is when the doctor prescribed me medicine for my blood pressure the nurse stated " I don't know why he ordered this for you but oh well" I looked at her like did you really say that and she must have caught the hint and replied " it shouldn't hurt you whether you need it or not" personally as a healthcare professional myself I would avoid this place like the plague and chance it going to a different hospital in another city. They don't know what they are doing.
