I have not had one smooth experience with Coram since starting at home infusions and am now looking for a new company. Let me start by saying my nurse, Ahmed is truly wonderful at his job and is the only positive about Coram. My account rep, Kathy, is terrible. From my very first delivery of equipment and medicine, it hasn't arrived on time or even on the right day. I have to constantly call asking where my medicine is and she always has an excuse (always someone else's fault) on why my medicine wasn't delivered. The worst part is they don't even inform you when there are potential issues, they just leave you in the dark. The drivers/delivers are never on time either. This has been a horrible experience for an already horrible experience of having to get infusions. I would not recommend Coram.

I am basing my review on my personal experience as an infusion patient at their facility in Mt. Prospect, IL. I had my infusion in late December 2017 and my overall experience was less than ok. It was a 3 day infusion and each day I was there for approximately 8 hours. When you walk into the building you're walking into an office and not a clinic as I expected. Rather, in the office full of cubicles is a very small poorly constructed room, which was clearly an addition to the existing office space. In that room was 2 curtains that separated 2 much smaller areas to sit in and be infused. On top of all this the office space was under major construction as they were "making improvements". This means I had to listen to loud hammering and sawing as well as sit through the dust for 8 hours as a patient. I was there for an extended period of time due to the protocol for my infusion and to sit in these small quarters under these conditions as well as deal with the symptoms of my infusion is unacceptable. With that being said I gave 2 stars for the nurses who were very professional and good at their job. So thank you to them. Bottom line is this is not an infusion clinic other than it has a couple closet sized rooms and a couple of nurses. If you're going for anything other than an hour infusion pick somewhere else and do your research.
