Lakeview Village has been a wonderful move for my parents. From day one, their experience has been consistent with the rave reviews from the many residents who volunteered their praise during my parents' initial visits. Once they decided on the apartment, my parents selected the finishes and appliances with the result of a beautiful apartment with walls of windows and views of trees. On moving day, staff fulfilled a few requests by my parents. It's been two months now and the staff responsiveness continues to this day, including hanging their artwork. The staff is always good-natured, with many who have worked there for decades. The quality and variety of food in the dining room is very good, and the dining room staff is friendly. The entertainment has been delightful, from professionals performing classic opera pieces, to a very talented magician, to a singer/pianist who entertained with Broadway tunes, and more. My mom is take advantage of the swimming pool, and we hope they take advantage of the high quality workout area, which also has a wall of windows with a nice view. The location is convenient, easy to get anywhere from there. It is true that retirees should move before they think they need to. After a rough summer of downsizing, an estate sale, and moving, my parents have relaxed into the ease of living at Lakeview Village. Their sheets and towels are picked up every week for laundering, their home is cleaned every other week, and if they need anything done they call the work order number and the request is met quickly. Finally, never underestimate peace of mind. My parents, my siblings, and I know that my parents' reasonable investment in this high quality Continuing Care Retirement Community will continue to provide excellent surroundings and care for my parents through every stage of their lives.

What a great experience for my mother-in-law in Sub Acute Rehab. She had been in multiple hospitals and a skilled nursing facility several times in the last 8 months. Lakeview Village is the only stay in which she had nothing to complain about. She loved the staff, care, facility and the food. East side terrace makes it easy for family to visit and always made us feel welcome.

My mother moved into Lakeview Village in 1999 and lived there until 2011 when she passed away in the Care Center. Her experiences there were fantastic- in 12 years, we had very few problems. She was in independent living for the first 11 years and then transitioned first to the Assisted Living unit and finally to the Care Center. It is true that Lakeview Village is not an inexpensive place to live. However, I believe in the long run, buying in to the community and having the comprehensive continuum of care provided ends up costing less. Lakeview Village's real strength lies in its staff. My mother loved living there, and I never ever had a moment's worry that anyone was anything less than kind and loving to her. In fact, several of the staff members became my friends. If you have the means to move to this community and are able to absorb some increases in expenses as care needs increase, you will not be sorry you have chosen Lakeview Village.

Lakeview Village is a beautiful place to live. Everyone I meet is friendly and helpful. I feel completely safe. I have a little dog with me and she and I walk around the lake 3 or 4 a day. We will be here one year May 15. I am independent, but feel help is here if I need it. My daughter lives near and now I know she will never be burdened with being a caregiver. She says that when she meets the age requirement she is moving to Lakeview Village. Thanks to all the staff and my neighbors.

We sure picked the right place. We've been here 3 years now and love everything about it. We looked at 14 retirement facilities, but Lakeview was head and shoulders above all of them. The staff actually cares about you, the maintenance is prompt, and the neighbors make it a community. The full range of care options from Independent Living through full nursing also was an important consideration. We're all going to experience each step eventually. When I visit the Care Center I notice it doesn't smell like a nursing home, a sign of a well run facility. This is definitely the best place to live.
