If you feel like calling the police on a patient with dementia is acceptable, you should be put out of business. SO many better ways to handle that situation. I hope your dreams recall his murder every single night.

Jan 23 marks the 1st anniversary of my husband's residence in "The Cove" at Good Samaritan. The Cove is the Memory Care wing. The staff there are special and wonderful people. They treat the residents with love and dignity. It has been a very hard year without him at home but at last he is adjusting. They have a good routine and provide activities to help stimulate their minds. They are always kind to not only the residents but to the family members as well. Over this past year I have called sometimes 5 times a day to check on him and they always have time for me. Many times it is in the middle of the night or early AM and I can't sleep and I am missing him. They listen to me cry and are so understanding and sweet. From the CNA's all the way to the director of nursing, I love them and what they do for us. If there were an option for 10 stars, they would get my vote
