I've had Phoenix home health care for two years since March of this year things have gone downhill I have lost my job because of Phoenix home health care and they're Homecare girls just up and quit and they don't try to cover them and leave you hanging I've had to call into work several times at weeks at a time because they're just not they're the ones they do send over stay for 2-3 days and leave I've had them still for me I've had them do drugs in my house and eat my food very unprofessional the Sedalia office has someone working for them that doesn't know how to care and compassion for the person that needs the care they leave you hanging I would not recommend this company to anyone

I completely disagree with the former reviewer who clearly this field just isn't meant for. Not all patients are going to be your favorites, that's ok, they still deserve respect. That being said, I have worked for several hospice companies and this one shines bright. The pay is comparable. It's family owned so there is no corporate board pushing and pushing, patient care comes first. The team I work for is fantastic. Management and office staff are supportive and in the field we have one another's backs. Our patients are well cared for and about. Bravo to a hospice company who does it right!

I worked here for about a month. 1st they're very unorganized. 2nd they call you constantly on your day off. 3rd they listen to the people who've been there the longest but never question if the information is true. 3rd they always put the blame on the patient or other employees and not themselves. When I worked there I kept to myself, I would literally go sit in my car until I had another patient because they had a person in the facility that would run and tell them everything but when that same person was around me and other co workers she would talk bad on Phoenix and all of the managers. I found it funny that they really believed her word was gold but when she trained me she barely did anything for the patients besides sit in their apartments and run her mouth non stop to burn up time. I learned quickly that for her it was her career and for me it was just another job. It's kindof sad when you think about it she had to be damn near 50 and that was her career path. Smh I hope they found someone to work weekends and to be at their beckoning call. Right before I got terminated I planned to quit the Friday of my shift so it work out in both our favor. They don't pay enough for the things you have to do but if you need a quick check every week. Then sign up that's all they're good for is a weekly check. Other than that it's a waste of time. The only think you will learn is how to wipe ass and give bathes and put up with old people yelling and abusing their spouses. They had some cool patients too I won't diss them all. My main issue was the backstabbing co workers. Whom I never even talked to and did my best to advoid because everyone already knew she was a two faced snitch.
