They have ignored my Dad and let him go without medical care, accelerating his death. First, from 4/17/17 until 6/1/17, they did nothing to x-ray a torn shoulder, nor did they investigate my Dad's pain and current physical condition. Then, on 6/7/17, they made promises they would update me on his care, and they never did. They ignored his regular physical, dental appointments in July, because after staff changed, it took them another 6 weeks to get a response from the new person. Once again, Curtis Ellis made promises that he would do these appointments, while Dad stayed in a facility with no overnight nurse on staff and few staff and no way for him to get help in his room. He went from walking with a walker in July to wheelchair bound in August, and it took them over 100 days to get him moved to a proper facility when he had plenty of money to pay for it. They never updated family or anyone else of their actions, and only once my 85 year old mom became my Dad's personal nurse, did he get snacks at night as he withered away from neglect, both from Elderserve and the facility where they left him. Indeed says they are poorly managed, and people do not show up for work. They also cut off visitation from his only daughter once he was moved, and it was discovered he had broken ribs that they did not report to her, or bother to take him to the VA Hospital as they had promised back in June 2017. This is an excuse for eldercare, and they are not doing a decent job just letting elders die.
