I love working at VNA of MD! Early in my occupational therapy career I moved around working with several different companies in various areas of practice. 7.5 years ago I found VNA. I have been a very happy employee ever since. The office and field staff are all very caring and our patients well being is our priority.

A great place to work - very positive, energetic work environment with an incredible management team! Staffed with skilled nurses, therapists, and more - all very knowledgeable and all putting the patient first! They really do great work all around.

I met with my 87 year old dad's primary care physician on a Monday after my dad had had a couple of falls. Nothing was broken, but he was sore, bruised and in need of PT and OT. The doctor had his assistant call in orders to VNA to initiate PT and OT services immediately. By Thursday, when I had not received any phone calls regarding scheduling these services, I called VNA. They claimed they had no record of his name or date of birth in their computer. I then called his doctor's office and they said they had spent time on the phone with VNA that past Monday giving them all the information regarding my dad and assumed VNA would follow-up with a call to me. Well, they not only did not contact me but the person the doctor's assistant spoke to (unfortunately she did not get her name) must have been in outer space because there was no record of this call to initiate services for my dad. I was quite dismayed as my dad had lost 4 days of potential PT and OT services. I WOULD NOT recommend this company to anyone! Perhaps they should re-evaluate their operations and employee's work related responsibilities!!!

They keep mailing me paper work to my personal private practice instead of the practice where the patient belongs. I am not affiliated with Baltimore clients and therefore my private patients don't have VNA come to their home. I don't use VNA services for my patients. Only used at my part-time job because they go to Baltimore. I don't .
