We hired Lifesprk to give 24 hr care for my 99 year old mother-in-law who had congestive heart failure and was a fall risk, in order for her to spend her final weeks? months? at her home. Her mind was sharp and she was hoping to rehab and get on her own again. Before her last fall she had been living independently and enjoying bridge and dinner with friends at a Senior living facility. While the people we interacted with at Lifesprk were certainly nice enough, there was definitely some problems and I can't say they had her best interests in the forefront. There were language barriers with some heavy accents (not a deal breaker but difficult when checking in on her which we did often) there was a disappointingly lack of communication between their leadership , their workers and hospice. One worker left my mother-in-law, who was on water pills and could not go to the bathroom by herself, sitting in her favorite chair all night. We had to throw out the chair. It was saturated. The worker had did call the Lifesprk staff about it ,who by their records told her the patient could make her own decisions and let her stay up, rather than looking into things further or checking with us or Hospice-who were always on call to go check on things. Lifesprk said changes were happening with her and it took them a while to catch up. They also didn't weight her everyday as they were supposed to and soon 9 pounds of water had built up around her lungs and heart. She was at very low oxygen levels and out of her mind before that was figured out. Lifesprk said they didn't know how that fell through the cracks. So yes, our mom was 99, and yes her heart was failing, but would she have died so soon with better care? Would there have been less damage to her system with proper monitoring? No way of knowing. But for the many thousands of dollars we paid Lifesprk we expected, perhaps erroneously, that we had left her in good hands.

My husband and I contacted Lifesprk to help with the transition from 2 months in the hospital following heart surgery to home. We were lucky to have Vicky as our case manager. She and two staff members came to the hospital (at no charge) to learn the procedures for caring for my husband with his heart pump. She was very diligent in managing the staffing for his needs, and was professional and extremely competent in all of our interactions. Most of the caregivers were very good - particularly the nursing personnel. We did have an issue with over billing, but that finally got resolved. I would recommend this agency and would use them again, if the need arises.

This place is a scam. They will do anything to screw over their employees and clients. The high turn over of both should speak for it's self. They will try to sell you on their "model" and their "culture" but they are really just sales people trying to add more, unnecessary services on to the tab. Would not recommend anyone work here or go to them for home care services.

Good company to go through if you like thieves. They took money out of my fathers account for services not rendered after he passed away. My father is a decorated war veteran and they took his money when it was not theirs to take. Beware of this company.

When considering services for my grandparents, I used a personal connection at Lifesprk to understand my options. While I was made aware of the many choices I have, Lifesprk's proactive model is undoubtedly the right fit for me and my grandparents. Lifesprk's transparency about their holistic model and their customer service commitments made me feel so confident in my pending decision.
