I was in a serious motorcycle accident and after getting out of the hospital, I had to go to Good Samaritan for 5 weeks for continued care. This place is horrible and they take advantage of people in fragile states. I had a broken neck and broken back and numerous breaks and wounds on left leg. Good Samaritan scheduled my follow up appointments for me at 2 clinics when I arrived there. I was responsible to pay for the transportation, although Good Sam arranged the transportation with TravelOn since I was in a wheelchair and could not get into a vehicle seat. I was taken to the wrong location for my first doctor visit and left there. My credit card was charged for taking me to the wrong location at approx $50, Good Sam reimbursed me that time. The next appointment with a completely different doctor/clinic, I was also taken to the wrong location. Good Sam made the appointments and scheduled the transport as I said. This time my card was charged $96. Good Sam did not reimburse me this time. They wanted me to try to get reimbursed by the doctor/clinic. The doctor/clinic did nothing wrong so they did not reimburse me either. Good Sam made the appointments and scheduled the transport to take me on a $96 ride to Anoka, which was very painful and not fun at all for me. I am out $96 for their mistake. I have tried to talk to many people at Good Sam about this and got the run around that they were checking into it over and over again. It has been almost 6 months and they stopped returning my calls and never reimbursed me. I think this is a horrible way to treat someone who is dependent on their care. just horrible. I would not suggest you trust your loved ones to them.

Patient and caring staff made my mom's stay bearable. New wing for transitional care is beautiful and everything is state of the art. Good food too!
