Called 911 on Saturday august 3 I have symptoms and was transported to st. Vincent's. It's now Monday. When I arrived i had my orthopedic knee brace that I have to wear everyday. Today after I was given an antipsychotic the nurse proceeded to badger me and said I could keep the brace on if I slept in the hallway. Can't sleep In the room much less the major hallway ON THE FLOOR!! I was told my brace is a safety issue for other patients. Not one person in there knew I had it on until the nurse yelled it out in the middle of the room. "they are trying to help me she said." What a joke. It was like a good cop bad cop game 85% of the nurses are cool the rest the them I will be contacting appropriate staff

This was one of the worst experiences I ever had at a hospital period. My grandmother went in on Friday night for confusing and high blood pressure. She was put in the ICU and was still alert and oriented x2. By the 2 night she started to vomit brown liquid constantly and was not able to breathe. She then had to get rushed to get intubated and went into cardiac arrest twice. They ran multiple test and found out that her bowels were abstracted which caused her kidneys to fail. Therefore my family and I was under a lot of pain and stress. In the ICU she had a nurse by the name of Jean on 9-18-17 from 7a-7p shift that was very rude to me and my family members. She processed to take my grandmothers blood and threw the tubes on her chest as she did it, would not answer questions that were asked to her, and cursed the computer while in my grandmothers room with us sitting right there. I wouldn't recommend ANYONE that has major problems going to this facility. My grandmother end up losing your pulse and passed that night. But to have to go through all of that was very traumatizing and I will never forget that experience.

I was sent here after a major car accident, the E.R Department was friendly but some of the waiting room patients were very rude. It took awhile to be placed in a room but I expected that. Once I got back to a room the staff was friendly and fast. They always checked to see if I needed anything and make sure I was comfortable.

Called 911 because I was having severe chest pains. In ambulance EMT's set up EKG and said it did not look like a heart attack but might be angina. Relatively good news. Arrived at ER about 7:20 PM and computers were down. Staff was not treating patients because they couldn't use the computers. About 9 PM speakers announced the computers were back online and staff began scurrying around their terminals. About half an hour later later one staff member began giving printed ID bracelets to patients waiting treatment. About 10 PM the person who had finished giving out new ID bracelets started calling names. When the patients approached the desk they were told staff just wanted to see if they were still present. I left about 10:30 PM thankful my chest pains weren't immediately life threatening. Good god - not treating sick and injured people because the computer doesn't work?

This place is horrible if i could give a negative star rating I would. I have been here for over 2 hours and no one has come into my room to even check on me. I rang for my nurse almost 45 minutes ago and Katie still has not darkened my door frame. I even unhooked my minutes and it's been beeping for 30 minutes and needless to say no one came to see what the problem was. I will never visit this poor excuse for a hospital again. They treat everyone as if we have no health insurance. I am looking at everyone congregate at the nurses station as I ring my bell ad repeatedly ask for a nurse. I could've stayed in the comforts of my own bed as opposed to laying in this hard ass bed because I'M STILL IN PAIN. My advice travel the extra distance to west county the level of care you'll receive there is phenomenal unlike this dump where everyone here is only here for a paycheck. And no one actually gives a damn about the patients.
