I brought my father to this hospital numerous times to see specialists over the past 20 years. I must say everyone I came in contact with were so wonderful. He got the best care. His primary care physicians, nurses, Hematology/Oncology physicians, nurses and treatment room nurses, Palliative Care division, Ophthalmology physicians and assistants, 7 South patient room and Emergency Room from triage to caring nurses and physicians. Everyone was wonderful. Thank you to all for your kindness and knowledge in caring for my father.

If you have had terrible service please call Senator Wm. Lacy Clay's office and let them know, they need to be notified. After taking my Father to the hospital for surgery, they had no record of him on the schedule for the next day. After waiting all day with nothing to eat or drink they finally informed him at 3pm that it would not happen that day and they would have to see when they could do the surgery. 5 days later, he had surgery. The day of surgery I called on the phone to the OR staff after hours of no updates and was told he was in Recovery. 2 hours later after that with still no update they told me he was still in surgery?? No one knows what is going on and they have a lack of compassion for anyone :( 2 hours later we went to his room and he was in sever pain by himself shaking. The MD or the transporter who told us they would get us never came to tell us or speak with us. This place is REPULSIVE to our Veterans!!
