My daughter has cerebral palsy, lives on her own, can't walk and has very limited use of her hands so she is dependent on First Care for bathroom visits during the day, cooking and feeding of breakfast, lunch and supper. Often the care providers are late or do not show up at all. When my daughter callers the office she is told she will have to find someone to cover the visit herself. If she could do that we would not need First Care at all. So a helpless person is left stranded. Not much comfort or compassion for their clients. I guess they are all about the money!

Should change their name, here are some suggestions; WhoCares, UnCares, Don'tCare, LastCare, NoCare. This company likes to play God. If you live with anyone they decide you don't need home healthcare, and just cancel visits on you last minute. They have an extremely high turnover rate because they enjoy slowly breaking your will. And not to mention all the gossiping about clients in the office, so unprofessional.

First Care was off to a very rocky start with it's service to me, however since then the service has been very good so I rate the company a 4 star company.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I have been with the company for four years and in the beginning it was great. Then I had a problem with a certain staff member blabbing my personal business to aides who were going to be doing my night cares. This happened not once, not twice, but THREE times. After the third time it happened and the boss called me and basically said we're losing people to staff your visits because they feel you're not as laid-back as you once were. So basically, after three times of problems with a certain staff member I got thrown under the bus because they said it was my attitude. I'm very big on what is said in my home stays in my home, and I thought first care was too. These last two weeks with the company had been pure hell because apparently they don't give a crap about HIPPA or any client wishes. I agree with the first review: do not use this company for your home health needs.

I was an employee there and they falsely fired me also they cheat you on your pay checks and most of the aides don't do what they are suppose to when it comes to the cares and helping keep the clients home clean. First care also does not know how to schedule visits by the end of each week they always have at least 75 or more visits that need to be covered and they just put anybody in the visit and alot of times visits are not covered alot of the clients feel that they don't have any rights when it comes to there cares And the nurses don't do what they need to do for the clients alot of clients feel they don't have a voice in there cares so I wouldn't go through first care
