The only reason I am giving this at least two stars is because the insurance company should share some of the responsibility with the issues I had with this agency. I was pretty encouraged when I learned that my mother would be placed with this agency, basically because of the name and the information I had read on the website about caring for patient's with Alzheimer's. Speaking with their coordinator, I felt confident and settled after hearing, "we will keep trying till we get it right". Let me start by saying this disease is challenging and I am pretty transparent about what to expect when it comes to my mother. What I don't need is for the Aide to arrive and say, "she didn't sign up for this." The summary of this is, we had aides who didn't bath my mother, feed my mother, would not take my mother to the bathroom, did not speak English, forced my mother into chairs, stayed on the phones with their back to my mother and the straw that broke the camels back was the aide, who refused to do anything for my mother all day and kept hanging the phone up on me when I called to check on her. I had to call my a friend who went to the house and found my mother slumped over in a chair. When I got home, I had to call 911 for my mother. In between all of this my mother wound up with infections, a tubing which was connected to her kidney and pulled out of her back, a heart attack and she had to spend 4 months in rehab. I can understand if the work is too much, but work with your provider and family to find the best solution for the patient. My mother should not have to have gone through this.

So I have been using ACS Home Care for almost 3 years now. I wanted to take some time today to thank Rob and his aids for the excellent services they have provided my grandparents over the years. My grandparents currently use ACS Home-care services and require two aids throughout the day every day. My family has found that ACS has mastered the ability to always make sure my grandparents have aids whatever the weather is outside. Thanks For Caring Guys!
