Approximately a year or so ago I had developed a wound that is slow to heal and arthritis issues that made it necessary for me to use a power chair. Shortly after I began to receive care from the Eddy. Throughout this time I have had several nurses and aides involved in my care and have always been treated with respect and compassion.. When I had issues with my power chair, Heather Springer worked hard to help me resolve the issue. My case manager, Lillian Smalls, and nurses Gary and recently Tiffany have been fantastic in their care for me. Especially Lillian who comes by once a week to dress my wound. She is efficient and personable and a joy to deal with. Despite some negative comments I have seen, I have nothing but praise for this agency and recommend it to others. So thank you to all those concerned.

I have to say that the staff that does the home visits can be very rude and pushy especially when it comes to the client's time, financial ability and their own physical abilities. They only offer an aide, to help the client shower at most once a week. At least that's what they offered my elderly father. Kathy the PT just calles to offer her first PT appointment with him for within a half hour from the time of her call. SMH that is UNACCEPTABLE. My time and my Father's time should be taken into consideration. The VNA just made his first visit on 4/30/19 while my father has been home from the hospital since 4/26/19. This agency needs to learn to value their Client's, the client's time and ability to work with PT and OT.

Am very pleased w the care, response and support the Eddy has provided my husband and myself after his stroke. It's not perfect but they try very hard to do their best. More power to them.

Absolutely awful. I would never, ever recomend this agency to anyone. The nurse assigned to my relative tries so hard to make herself overly relevant. Among other things, She lied on the phone right in front of me to make herself look smarter/more important while coordinating services with another agency. Overcompensation for a low self esteem, maybe, but most certainly, a lack of integrity. The occupational therapist is condescending and apparently knows more than anyone, on the planet. Whatever you are doing for your relative is scrutinized and definitely wrong. And the physical therapist comes across as an absent minded professor who leaves you wondering how she even got a degree in the first place. The person responding to this from the agency will give the standard, "call our director at blah, blah, blah so we can address these issues." In my relatives remaining time, I would never subject them to the confusion of having to have new people come in. Or worse yet, be subjected to less than the sub-par care they are receiving now from the people in place because we "tattled" on them. One out of 3 bad eggs might be a fluke, but 3 out of 3, that just reflects the agency as a whole. Just avoid this company, for your loved one's sake.

Eddy's staff completely lost the paper work for my 90 y.o. father who came from the hospital 2 weeks ago and was waiting for home physical therapy. After I call them the Supervisor told me that they couldn't contact us, even though they had 3 (three) our phone numbers.
