Inconsistent caregivers and very poor administrative staff as well as policies. We had a good caregiver for a number of years but after she left them they could not have anyone on a consistent basis who could deliver quality care. One of their caregivers was actually found sleeping in the middle of the day when she was supposed to be watching our mother. The person who they claim had an issue with "adult material" was totally unreliable and while we initially were happy with her and even wrote a letter of commendation about her, she soon afterwards became inconsistent in the quality of care she provided. The issues we had was how the agency changed their policies related to payments and that they couldn't provide reliable people to provide proper care. With the initial caregiver, when we had reliable service, the ratings were justified. However, they went down hill very fast even though we gave them every chance, through a number of caregivers, to meet our expectations. It is also important to know that the ratings given would be downgraded significantly based on our current experience with a new caregiver agency that has done a far superior job with its service level and quality of caregivers. If I were to receive another call for evaluation it would reflect the most recent level of service they provided and in context to new experience with a different agency. I stand by the rating and their assertion of why a change was made is wrong. No one knows more about what happened than we do. It all comes down to their change in payment terms and quality of caregivers.
