I know countless people who started their recovery at The Woods at Parkside and now have long-term sobriety. I was so impressed by the changes I saw in peoples' lives that I decided to work here. I love seeing clients finish the program and go back out in the world equipped with the tools for permanent recovery. Many come back for 12-step mtgs & it's so much fun to visit with them & see how well they're doing. Our clients are often in my prayers and I know many other staff members that pray for our clients as well. I love being a part of changing peoples' lives!

I received treatment at Parkside 7 years ago.My treatment there was a great success. I made friends and learned things about myself that enabled me to stay sober until recently when I let my guards down and I'm headed back to hopefully recover and continue on with life with no more interruption. I chose Parkside because they helped me get my life in order.

Horrible conditions! The staff was completely rude and uneducated. I had absolutely NO contact from the center after being promised aftercare. This place is worthless and a waste of time and money!!

Called to get info regarding out patient counseling, just to see what my options were. Was feeling lonely and struggling a bit. They then proceeded to barrage me with relentless phone calls to get me to come in as they had a bed ready... why? Because they checked my benefits and I had good insurance. Hadn't really broke the news to the family as to what my plans were. Told them that many times. After telling them for the fifth time I will call them stop calling me they call my wife telling them my bed was ready. Wife threatened divorce. So... awesome.
