Unprofessional , inconsiderate ,does not care about employee and is in business to make money not f inor loving, caring .. In summary I wrote this poem years ago I hope Visiting Angel shall see it. Think ! Think about making a difference in some one else's life today for in the end of time ALL that shall matter most is how you lived your life here on earth and how it impacted mankind and not the temporary things you have unknowingly acquired.

I Had them come for 24 hr. care for my mother, all I can say is they hire a lot of people from Ghana, and they don't cook like us ole folks like. I was told if you didn't like the color of the caretakers shoes you could ask for someone else. they brought one girl in for the weekend. and she was totally out of her league. We came in the next day and she was petting my mom like she was a dog or a cat, saying she's so sweet. ( Strange ) Then she proceeds to tell us that she almost fell in bed with her, I asked her why she didn't use the gait belt, She said she didn't know what that was. To top it all off after 6 months of service from this company ,this is the Dublin office at $ 6,720 per month for a total of $40,320.00 off my mothers money, when she passed away, Not even a phone call from the owner or the front office. They call that compassionate caring I guess, good luck for finding care it's not easy for anyone. I would pass on these jerk-offs and get someone else.

Save the headache and call the other Visiting Angels office in Grove City. Evidently each is independently owned. I was referred to contact Kristi with Visiting Angels by Moms rehab center and family Dr. I did not have the brochure on hand and looked up the number. I called the Columbus/Dublin office by mistake, they (the owner of that office) told me Kristi was not available, but scheduled and came out to do the assessment and we set start of care date. I had a question and then called the Grove City office from the brochure. There was a bit of confusion but quickly solved and they offered to take over the service if I wanted. I decided to stay with the Columbus/Dublin office since everything was set. BAD MOVE. I had inconsistent scheduling and care givers and poor communication from the office staff. I switched to the Grove City office, and have been happy since. Not only are they $1.00 an hour cheaper, I have only had 2 substitute caregivers in 4 months.

I just wanted anyone that wanted their loved one cared for that they would reconsider this location. They really need office related skills with customer relations

Be VERY careful. They claim to do background and criminal checks, but not really. They gave me the name of a caregiver and I checked the person out and found some things that bothered me. When I talked to the office, I got excuses, so I cancelled. I would not use them.
