The experience was really great the regular staff was really excellent from the housekeeping to the nurse on the Morgan Unit. The end was a little unpleasant on some of the days the fill ins were there, not all of them but some did not show excellence like the others and not as tentative. I like the physical therapist but on one occasion, the employee was rude and threatened me with " your insurance wont pay for your stay if you don't go today " unquote. All in all you have a great facility, will be even better if you straighten out the kinks

I entered Wexner Heritage Village for rehab after hip replacement surgery on November 16 and left November 21. On Thursday, November 20, about 3:00 p.m., the nurse gave me by remainder of my medications - Azeteline and Percocet, to take home The sheet of Percocet contained about 20 pills. I laid them on the bedside table. I left the room twice that afternoon. The Percocet disappeared. I am 77 years old and did not understand the value of Percocet and now realize I should not have left them on the bedside table. Medications should not be dispensed to patients until the time of discharge - this will eliminate any problems with theft of medications.

Over the past 3 years, my dad has been in a few rehabilitation centers. After 4 stays at Wexner now, he will never go anywhere else. The nurses, doctor, assistants, greeters, kitchen staff, you name it - they are all a class act. Any issue encountered was personally addressed by the charge nurse or administrator. They pay attention to every detail, make accommodations for family, and make the difficult reality of aging parents a far less painful experience.
