The concept of the home is fantastic as for taking care of our seniors in a home setting and most of the caretakers were very nice. My main concern where my mother stayed was the unsanitary conditions of the carpets in the house. The carpet had been urinated and defecated on even in the dining area. I tried to get it remedied for over 6 months but the person in charge wouldn't even hire a professional carpet cleaning service, making the caretakers use an inexpensive rug shampooing machine to try to clean them. The carpet is also a tripping hazard as part of it is missing. The carpet needs ripped out of there and a floor covering that can be washed daily should be installed. A week ago I finally put in a complaint to the Board of Health but have not had a response yet.

Working for Comfort Care is horrible. You make less to nothing, get no sick days or PTO. If you call off even one day they take a quarter an hour from you for 90 days. I have been employed here since April and have had 3 different regional directors and soon to be a 4th. They keep changing my permanent schedule knowing I work a second job. If you pick up a shift thats overtime and you select the next day pay then they rip you off and do not pay you your time and a half for your overtime. If you are a team leader and run a house you do the grocery and house hold items shopping on your own time and have not been giving gas cards. They do not drug test during the hiring process and they also hire people with criminal backgrounds. Could go on more but to tired!!!

They don't screen their employees very well. After the first visit to my mother in law's senior apartment, MIL discovered her diamond wedding ring was missing. This was 5pm on Friday. Police were called and a report was filed, but unable to reach anyone at the business until Monday. Doubtful the ring will ever be recovered.
