If you are pregnant, just be cautious to go there because they don't care! I was sent to Einstein Medical Center- old york road by ambulance because my water broke and I was in labor. The triage took my insurance and contact information and I was asked to waited in the hallway. After that in more than one hour, nothing had been done. They even didn't care to check my vitals such as heart beat or blood pressure. Not even once. I was in pain because of my contraction, my water kept running down, and I was bleeding. I asked multiple times when I would be seen by either a doctor or nurse. The only answers are they did not know and I need to wait. After more than one hours' frustration, I had to leave to Pennsylvania Hospital because I was having a lot of pain from active labor. I was sent to delivery room immediately once I was in Pennsylvania Hospital. Even the nurses in Penn cannot understand why I was not checked vitals in more than one hour in Albert Einstein because my life and my new born son's life could be in danger. One month after, I got one bill from Albert Einstein asking for "PAYMENT for the OFFICE VISIT." They charged my insurance company for 130+ dollars and ask me to pay another 20 dollars. I called them multiple times and they said that they would try to dispute the charge. However, I continue to receive bills from Einstein for payment from then on. They even sent a LAST BILL and threaten to sent my bill to collection! I deserve an apology from Einstein for putting me and my new born's life in danger. Instead, they just keep asking for my payment for the 'visit' where they did not even check my vitals.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Staff doesn't care about your well being. It seems like they focus more on getting you out of the hospital to get others in than your actual well being. First day there they noted my medication was given to me 3 times in the system when it was actually only given to me twice. When i told the nurse she said she wouldn't be able to give it to me because first shift noted that it was in fact given to me when it wasn't. As a result of that my calcium levels dropped. A lot more to it... too much to type. Do not recommend this hospital to anyone. I will never go back to this hospital again

Admin staff is horrible, rude, and self-righeous. Problems with IT infrastructure and this leads to inefficiencies. Departmental cross-communication is non-existent. I went for an MRI and had to leave a voice mail to get a CD of the test. I waited for a very long time and asked one of the admins in radiology and she told me they have no communication with the records department. The leaders of this hospital should be ashamed.

Worked here as an employee and felt unsafe and threatened by a GI technician named Patrice Landers and a Nurse name Cynthia Swann. This place can be a very nice place to work, but the fact that bullying and violent behavior is tolerated it's sad. This institution allows this type of behavior and it's a shame.
