Garden Plaza has been a safe haven for my Mamaw who moved there last year. The staff and people there have truly welcomed her and made her feel at home. We can't thank the people of garden plaza enough for the superior care that they give.

My mom spent 5 great years at Garden Plaza, but then the management changed and for months they made our lives miserable and ratcheted up our costs to force us to move my mom out. Unless your loved one is hip and cool and has no medical issues, Garden Plaza's probably not going to work for you.

Garden Plaza of Cleveland has been a wonderful experience for my mother. The residences are quite roomy and cozy. The common areas are warm and beautifully appointed. She is thoroughly enjoying the good food and company in the dining room each night, as well as the numerous activities available for residents. The staff is phenomenal!!! Lynda Copley made her transition seamless and worry free. We are so pleased with all Garden Plaza has to offer.

I was called in that my mother was passing away, she had a roommate, they removed her, said that I could have her bed, accused me of stealing the air freshener, then accused me of stealing the former roommates things. Moved us into a private room, that had joined bathrooms, told me I could not visit the former roommate, or anybody else. Locked my side of the bathroom door one day, and the cleaning lady went from one side and unlocked it, the very next day both sides were locked, and the nurse said they were told tof lock it, knowing I have bladder and kidney problems. A lady of the kitchen had brought me a cart with snacks on it, and I had stacked my personal things such as bibles and mail on it, they came in stacked all my stuff in a chair, and removed the cart, they took all the snacks as well that were on the cart still, at the same time they took my wallet and medicine bag, and had it at the nurses station, told me I needed to clean the room up, and they would give me a box to put my stuff in, there were three closets in the room, and they wouldn't let me use any of the closets. My emotional support had been there all week, I was visiting a lady that I had worked with, they came in and rudely inturrepeted my conversation, called me out, and told me people were complaining on my dog, for barking, he wasn't even barking. They stopped giving me guest trays, that I was paying for. I was having to find where my food had went. I had been dropped off there, so I was trying to find someone to get my dog, they came in again, and told me again, he had to go, I explain I was trying to get someone to come get him, and I said what do you want me to do, walk off the property, she said probably. I asked her wasn't it a little late to be sending my dog home, he had been there for a week, she said isn't it a little late for visitation? Meaning she could throw me out, even with my mother dying, because it was past 8. When I went back the day after my mom died , they had cleaned out the private room, and had my stuff on a cart in the hall, meanwhile two or three of the nurses dug thru my boxes, acting like I had stolen something. Then went I went into the room where she had a roommate, all of her clothes were mixed up, they were acting like I was trying to steal something of the room mates, even though I left things to be donated of my mothers. I came out and heard one of the nurses say, well, she didn't even come to visit her, anyways" so, instead of holding my mothers hand while she was taking her last breath, I was calling someone to come get me, because they were treating me so horribly. I wanna thank Mary Beth, the director of nursing, and her assistant, for making my time with my mothere so terrible, I hope that never happens to yall.

My now 98 Yr old Dad has lived at Garden Plaza Cleveland since April 2007. Stared in independent living and transitioned to the Assited side this past Oct. 2016. He loves it, they treat him especially well, there are virtually daily activities for the residents and geared to the various levels of mobility of them. First class operation and when you consider all the amenities and that the rent is all inclusive, fairly reasonably priced. As his only child and son, it has certainly taken a load off of me as i know he is being well cared for and i will be informed of any issues. I should also mention that if i have any concerns Management is always responsive and timely in taking care of them. Highly recommend!!
