Dying is a part of life and when the time comes, if such a facility is needed, you could not ask for a better place. The surroundings are beautiful, the staff is outstanding, and dignity is their number one priority! God Bless these wonderful people. They made my mothers final days a blessing!

Incredible facility with an empathetic and compassionate team. Dr. Ferguson was so helpful and kind, the nursing staff went above and beyond.

I agree. I've met some of the most caring staff at the Hospice of East Texas, HomePlace. They have encouraged me when I needed that and laughed with me too. My father couldn't be in a better place and he is doing so much better than when he entered the hospice 2 weeks ago. That is a direct result of the love and attention and care he has received from the nurse's aides and nurses all the way up to the physicians and even the chaplain. What a beautiful facility it is and so much more than merely a beautiful building, although the building and grounds are lovely as well. There is a chapel where prayer requests can be written, a quiet room and cozy library and plenty of space in the rooms as well. I am running into people I've known for years who also have loved ones there. Kindness goes a long way for families dealing with end of life issues. I will say a prayer for the caregivers, as I reflect on the wonderful people I have met and know by name. Top notch facility which is like a home. Thank you all ?

Where to begin? My Dad was a resident of Hospice for 3 days, prior to his flight to Heaven on Feb. 19, and, to say he was "cared for" is an understatement. We were ALL cared for, nourished, informed, and allowed to help Dad transition to his life after this one. In particular, Dr. Becker, Jet, Kim, Barbara, Julie and others whose names I've failed to remember, treated Dad with such compassion and concern and made his journey home one of dignity and grace. Our family will always remember their kindness during this heart-breaking time for our family.
