Access Hospice was beyond wonderful. The care, compassion and dedication they provided during my wife's transition was both supportive and re-assuring. Every member of hospice that we had contact with was very knowledgeable and helped to keep me and my family at ease during this difficult time. Cannot recommend Access Hospice enough. A truly caring organization.

I have worked with Access Home Care & Hospice since I have first been in the Valley. Their staff is top notch and they have a willingness to work with you that is unmatched. Their certified nursing assistants are of high caliber but more importantly they are kind and caring to all their customers. I would recommend checking them out if you need in-home supports for yourself or someone you care about.

Access Home Health Care was sending nurses to take care of my peripheral IV in my right arm. I am pregnant with Hyperemisis so severe I have to get meds 4 times a day through an IV. I noticed the IV in my arm was hurting and asked the nurse to take it out. The nurse said it was fine. The next day I asked for the IV to be taken out again. The nurse said it was fine and that she was uncomfortable taking the IV out. The next morning the nurse called me, again I asked for the IV to be taken out. She never got back to me like she promised. I finally called the nurse on call, who was awesome. He came and took the IV out. Instantly saw that it was infected and told me to go to the Instacare of ER immediately. I got to the ER. My arm was too painful to even touch. I couldn't lift a piece of paper without pain at this time. They had to do an ultrasound. There they found out that I had an abcess and two blood clots. They had to cut my abcess and drain it. It was excruciatingly painful. I had to miss work because I had to go in for rounds of rocephin for an antibiotic. I also was not able to pick up my 13 month old daughter or use my arm for a whole week. I asked Access to pay for the missed work and a VERY reasonable amount for pain and suffering. They have refused to take responsibility. Chad Mangum the director asked me to get a letter from my lawyer and told me he could then help me. I have called several times, left emails, all cordial messages. He refuses to get back to me. My husband and I are college students. Every dollar counts. Please help Access Home Health Care take responsibility for their actions. They service people with disabilities every day who often times do not have as strong of a voice as I did.

Never do business with these people. They tried to cheat and steal and anything they could do to not pay their bills which is sad because the employees on the front line seemed to genuinely care for their patients but they treat their business partners like crap.
