About Cascade Companion Care
Cascade Companion Care, LLC, is locally owned by Jon and Linda Senn of Arlington, WA. Linda is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) and Jon has been an occupational therapist since 1998. The company is local to Snohomish, Skagit, Island and King Counties, and provides non-medical, in-home care and companionship to seniors who wish to remain in their own homes or living environment for as long as possible. Our caregivers provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADL's), errands, incidental transportation to doctors and other service providers, medication monitoring, light housekeeping, and laundry. We can also provide assistance with grooming, dressing, personal hygiene, and bath safety. We offer specialized training that equips caregivers to assist with end of life care. In certain situations, we are able to perform nurse delegated tasks such medication administration and wound care. Our caregivers are employees of Cascade Companion Care. They are thoroughly screened, bonded and insured and we perform national background, Motor Vehicle, and extensive reference checks. We pay workman's compensation for all our employees, thus eliminating the potential legal and medical liabilities sometimes incurred by clients that hire independent contractors. We are licensed by the State of Washington for home care services and certified by the BBB and Home Care Pulse. All services and schedules are tailored to the needs of the individual client and caregivers are available for daily, weekly, overnight, 24-hour or live-in assignments. Dedicated to a high standard of quality care, we meet and assess each client personally at no cost. We remain available to all family members at all times by phone or email. We also make calls and in-home visits to clients to ensure they are satisfied and their needs are being met.

I worked with Cascade for 6 months and it was great! The staff is so kind and helpful, especially if you're a student with a crazy schedule! I ended up moving out of town, which is why I left, but I hated to go! I would recommend any caregiver to work with these wonderful people.

From my first inquiry to my most recent job assignment, Cascade In-Home Care has been a friendly, courteous and professional employer. They ensure our clients are well cared for and treated always with dignity and respect. I am respected for what makes me unique as a caregiver. I can offer feedback and am received well. For over two years now I have enjoyed parterning with Cascade to serve our community with quality personized care and companionship. I am grateful to be a part of this company. Thank you, Cascade!

I worked for this company for about 8 months. At first I really enjoyed them then I was lied to by Diane the case manager multiple times and decided to email the owners. We then had a meeting and I was pretty much told to sweep it under the rug. I was also talked to because I did too much cleaning for a couple I was taking care of. They told me if I'm going to help the husband and clean me then tell him to call the office and they will charge them the "couples rate". Well I continued to help without their knowledge because in my mind paying $28 an hour is plenty! And I just wanted to help this poor guy. A couple months later it was my baby's 1st birthday so I a co worker agreed to work my shift for me. I notified the office and a scheduler name Katy said ok and to email her so they have record. I did that and then went out of town for her birthday. Well apparently when I was gone with no phone the office manager Caroleen emailed me saying never mind it won't work (I didn't receive it since I was out of town and service) well the weekend came, I didn't work that day I was told Ok about but I did work the next day for them (fathers days) a 14 hour shift because they had nobody to work it. The next day came and I received an email with a termination letter attached saying I'm fired immediately for not going to work the day I was told I could have off! Yet they had no problem having me work the next day 14 hours on Father's Day. At the end of the letter they had the audacity to write "mail back the name badge and cascade companion care vest if you have one." I'm sorry but this "Christian" company is nothing like they advertise! Fire me through an email and tell me to mail my stuff? I haven't heard a word back from them since I was given that day off. They have some good workers (caregivers) and great clients! Sadly the office is like a cult.. another gal who worked in the office was told one day she doesn't have the brain for the position and to go home and she's fired. Just be warned, they lie, over charge, only care about money, not the clients or their staff! They had me fooled at first but thankfully a few months into Employment I saw the truth, I stayed working there because I loved my client!

We are very thankful for the competent and loving care that all the caregivers have given our Mom. Cascade has been very understanding in being flexible to arrange caregivers that blend well with both of our parents, who are 93 so that the best care can be given. As a health care professional myself, I highly recommend this agency for in home care for your family members.

I'm glad CCC introduces the care givers to us first before letting them step into our home. I love that they are always there if we have questions or need emergency care for our parents. I am super happy as a customer and would gladly recommend their services over sending anyone's parents to a retirement home!
