In one word : Thieves. Company engages in "Wage Theft" They told me they would pay me one rate, low and behold, when I get my first paycheck, it is nothing of the sort. I had to contact City of Seattle and the State Dept of Labor, hourly division. Not only is it immoral not pay people, it is also criminalized in the city of Seattle - but these people have no fear. They go through Caregivers like tissues in this organization - mostly these people are from other countries and do not know the wage laws. Totally shady organization. I do not trust these other Google reviews - remember Companies can pay people to write reviews. It is stealing not to pay people their wages. I don't think any of these other Google reviews are legitimate, they are all from "a google user" not a person. Family Resource Home Care obviously wrote most of these.

My family & I are so very grateful to all the staff & the caregivers at Family Resource for the fine quality care they provided for my brother Bill during his struggle with esophageal cancer. Everyone with whom we came in contact was efficient, professional & knowledgeable - both in setting up the care plan from the beginning and in remaining extremely flexible to meet changing needs through his journey to the end of his earthly life. Also, we were in a time crunch and Family Resource accomplished all of this in 24 to 36 hrs after we first contacted them (on a Sunday!). Initially, the staff came to Bill's house & visited with him to get to know him before we set up his care. They recommended specific caregivers who were a good match for his personality. Then the caregivers came & talked with Bill to get to know his needs, interests, likes & preferences - and to be sure he wanted them to be his full time caregiver. He had the opportunity to request different caregivers if he did not feel confident in the ones he first met. By the time he had met only three caregivers he had found two he liked very much! Both of his two primary caregivers were consistently kind, observant, and patient. In addition to caring for him, they cooked healthy food for him and they engaged him in stimulating conversations which made his days much more enjoyable. He was comfortable in their care and that meant so very much to him and to all of us in his family. Everyone at Family Resource Home Care provided outstanding professional, competent and loving care for my brother. I highly recommend them.

Family Resource Home Care was there for our family 4 years ago helping care for my mother-in-law and now this year helping with my mother. The care both times was exceptional in that the care takers bonded with our moms and were "there for them" in special ways which included going for walks, sharing meals & conversation, doing light housekeeping & inviting them to help if they desired. The staff were warm, joyful, helpful, dependable & capable. It takes a patient and creative person to companion with another diagnosed with dementia. I feel Family Resource placed wonderful staff with our moms which in turn was a support to our family as we cared for them. A wonderful trust bond between caretakers and our moms, helped in their transition as our moms' care needs increased and we found a memory care unit and an Adult Family Home. We greatly appreciated the loving, compassion and tender care from the Family Resource Caretakers and the staff in the office.

Family Resource Home Care There comes a time in our adult lives when we become responsible for our parents' well-being. When we needed a full-time caregiver immediately for Dad while Mom recovered from surgery, we contacted Family Resource Home Care. Within 24 hours, a compassionate and insightful RN came to Dad's home and spent a great deal of time interviewing and getting to know Dad and me. She made copious notes about his needs as well as his particular preferences to maintain his daily routine, essential with his dementia. Within the next 24 hours she presented us with a detailed, personal care plan and had matched Dad with a caring, bright and patient caregiver who brought Dad such comfort and companionship. We were all sad to see her go! A second time, we called on Family Resource Home Care and experienced the same thorough, thoughtful process. The uncertainty of our parents' situation caused us to postpone or change services several times, though this was taken in stride. And they were able to reunite us with the previous caregiver. Family Resource Home Care staff helped us through some difficult times with their genuine caring and professional attention to all our needs. We are so grateful and recommend them to anyone.
